The Faculty of Dentistry welcomes Dr Armando Pardo and two students from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine

Michael and Mai, both 4th-year students at the prestigious American university, took part in a week-long visit on the Sant Cugat Campus, while Dr Pardo shared his extensive teaching experience with several high-ranking members of the Faculty of Dentistry

From 25 to 31 March, Michael and Mai, students at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, lived and shared experiences with students in their final year of the Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry. During their time at the University, the students had the opportunity to attend theory classes, lectures and seminars along with the other students, and also took part in practicums in the University Dental Clinic. “A big thanks to our classmates for the warm welcome we received; we will take with us an incredible experience”, commented Mai and Michael.

On Thursday 28, the Faculty of Dentistry also received a visit from Dr Armando Pardo, an instructor in Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials and senior tutor at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr Pardo is also a member of the Office of Dental Education, an organism within the American university that ensures continuous improvement in terms of both educational programmes and at student level. During his visit, Dr Pardo met with several high-ranking members of the Faculty to share his experience as a teacher and member of the Office of Dental Education.
