The Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences and the non-profit foundation B LAB SPAIN have signed a cooperation agreement in efforts to raise awareness of and implement the B Corps movement in Spain. This form of corporate certification looks to maximise the positive impact on employees, the communities the companies serve and the environment, with a view to solving social and environmental problems.

By entering into this agreement, B LAB SPAIN undertakes to support the development of courses or training modules on B Corps at UIC Barcelona. It will also give students from the University the opportunity to undertake work placements in companies with or in the process of gaining B Corps certification.
