The Faculty of Education bids the academic year farewell with two graduation ceremonies

Dr Teresa Tilló, full professor of Experimental Science Didactics at the University of Barcelona and Pilar Casals, inspector for the Government of Catalonia’s Ministry of Education, were the patrons for the graduating class of 2015-2018.

 

The Faculty of Education bade the academic year farewell with graduation ceremonies of the bachelor’s degrees in Primary Education and Pre-Primary Education.

The first graduation ceremony was presided over by Dr Teresa Tilló, full professor of Experimental Science Didactics at the University of Barcelona, who gave a lecture at the ceremony. Similarly, Pilar Casals, inspector for the Government of Catalonia’s Ministry of Education, acted as patron for the graduating class of the Bachelor’s Degree in Pre-Primary Education on 29 June. 

At the graduation ceremony of the Bachelor’s Degree in Pre-Primary Education, Salvador Vidal, inaugurated the ceremony before giving the floor to the ceremony’s patron. At the graduation ceremony of the Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education, Mónica Fernández gave the welcoming address to students, their families and guests. 

Her speech was followed by the awarding of the diplomas prior to speeches from the class representatives and the closing address given by the dean of the faculty, Esther Jiménez. Two moving ceremonies that came to an end with the singing of the university hymn: Gaudeamus Igitur.
