Four Faculty of Education Lecturers Speak on Development of Digital Competence
Núria Hernández, a lecturer in the UIC Barcelona Faculty of Education, participated in the 3rd International Congress of Educational Sciences and Development held on Thursday, 25 June 2015, at Miramar Palace in San Sebastián. The Congress was organized by the Universidad del País Vasco and the Universidad de Granada.
Núria Hernández-Castillo read the paper "Developing Competence in Learning and Knowledge Technologies in Future Teachers”. Hernández also presented the poster “Developing Digital Competence and a Digital Identity in Future Teachers: Perceptions and Self-Regulation" with Maria Teresa Fuertes, Carme Balaguer and Eva Perdiguer, who are also lecturers at the UIC Barcelona Faculty of Education.
The aim of the paper and the poster were to encourage reflection on the development of digital competence among active teachers and those in training.
The Congress targeted educators working in family and community education and the psychology of human development at the practical and theoretical levels.
