In April, fourth-year students from the Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities visited the headquarters of the Sol Picó dance company. During the visit, organised by lecturer Marta Crispí as part of the subject Cultural Institutions and Policies, the students were given a tour of the studio, and members of Sol Picó showed them what it is like to work in a dance company.

The aim of the activity was to see how cultural entertainment companies in Barcelona are managed. The tour gave students the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the offices and rehearsal area and to observe how the company handles the administrative, advertising, marketing and artistic functions.
