The HR manager of Everis Catalonia shares her experience in people management with Business Administration and Management (ADE) students

Sandra Vilaseca, the HR manager at Everis Catalonia, gave a session to students on the ADE Human Resources degree course. She manages a team of more than 2,000 employees.

During the session, Vilaseca highlighted the four challenges that her department has to deal with: attracting talent, developing talent, ensuring the talent is happy and, finally, implementing measures for continuous improvement.

She also emphasised that those responsible for HR in companies are essentially change managers who actively listen to what employees are saying and come up with creative ideas.

On the subject of her job, the HR manager of Everis in Catalonia expressed her pride at the low staff turnover of the firm – just 13%, when the sector average is 20-25% – and the average age of the staff: 32.
