Between 19 and 21 January the group visited Florence, Sienna and San Gimignano, where they had the opportunity to visit museums, buildings housing artworks they have studied for subjects they are taking on art, particularly from the period of the Italian renaissance (Ghiberti, Massaccio, Botticelli, Michelangelo, etc.). Before the trip, Dr Judith Urbano, who is an art historian, gave them an introductory class on Florentine art.
