Jaume Armengou receives a Medal for Professional Merit from the University ESERP Foundation

The Vice-Rector for Academic Organisation and Teaching Staff, Jaume Armengou, recently received a Medal for Professional Merit from the University ESERP Foundation directly from the hands of the President of the Catalan Government, Carles Puigdemont.  He was also named an Honorary Member of the Higher European Council of Doctors. 

According to ESERP, Dr Armengou received the Medal for Professional Merit due to his “excellent work and good personal and professional way of working, his work in the field of university teaching as a researcher, occupying positions of great responsibility, and his strong scientific, analytical, executive, innovative and leadership skills, which have notably contributed to the development of university, cultural and social organisations in our country”.  

At the same event, the Higher European Council of Doctors also awarded him with an Honorary Member distinction.  The Higher European Council of Doctors is an institution that has received official authorisation from the Ministry of the Interior.  Some of its distinguished members include Camilo José Cela, Richard Roberts and Werner Arber.
