The dean of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, Marta Mas, the vice-dean, Frederic Marimon, and the lecturer Muñeca Magovedova received the Research on Cooperativism Award given by the Roca i Galès Foundation and the Catalan Association of Accounting and Management (ACCID). 

The award ceremony was held on 24 May at a gala recognising the work of people, institutions and companies dedicated to promoting the world of cooperativism, the social economy and the third sector. 

The Roca i Galès Foundation gives these awards annually in order to raise awareness of the work done to promote cooperativism, respect for the environment and the defence of welfare in Catalonia and to encourage academic research.
