Master’s students from the Faculty bid farewell to the semester with a special celebration

Professors and students from the three Master’s programmes spent an afternoon attending talks, taking photographs and tasting a few Catalan products that are typically eaten at Christmas.

Students from the Master’s Degree in Venture Capital and Private Equity, the University Master's Degree in Business Administration and Production Systems and the Executive Master's Degree in Big Data Science bid farewell in December with a very special celebration.  It was a celebration held a few days before Christmas and included talks and a small tasting experience.

The Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences organised an event in which professors and students participated to look back on the first months of the master’s programme and recognise the effort made by everyone.

At the event, held in the Aula Jardí, the directors of each of the Matser’s programmes:  Francesc Prior, Jasmina Berbegal and Carlos Cosials said a few words to students before the celebration.  Students were able to enjoy some Catalan products that are typically eaten at Christmas, this was especially aimed at foreign students who may not have tasted them before.

Hours beforehand, in the Saló de Graus, Master’s Degree in Venture Capital and Private Equity students attended a talk given by UIC professor Pablo Agnese, focusing on the bitcoin economy.  The Dean of the Faculty, Marta Mas, was also at the event, as well as the professor and director of the master’s programme Francesc Prior and Fernando García from KPMG, an organisation which is also a partner in this master’s course.
