Nacho Silva is a graduate in Advertising and Public Relations from UIC Barcelona. He currently has ten years of experience in business development. “Since I finished my studies, I have always tried to look for challenges that allow me to acquire new knowledge and experience”, he said. 

He began his career at Tinkle and Comunica, and later joined Krrts as strategic accounts supervisor. Until this year, he has worked at Houzz as head of sales, where he also successively led sales teams operating in the UK, Ireland, Nordic countries and southern Europe.

Silva is now facing a new challenge at Ovrsea, a digital freight forwarder, which allows him to continue growing in the fields of customer service and recruitment, as well as gaining experience in other areas. The former student highlights how his time at the University has been decisive for his professional career: “At UIC Barcelona, lecturers like Victor Kuppers taught me to work hard and have the right mindset for everything I do.”

With this new addition, the company aims to increase the growth and visibility of the brand in the Spanish market. The UIC Barcelona graduate will work on defining and implementing commercial plans in the various distribution channels. He has also assumed the position of director of the Ovrsea office in Barcelona.
