The new subject "Disability Law: Accessibility", the only one of its kind in Spain

Enrique Rovira-Beleta, a lecturer in the ESARQ-School of Architecture at UIC Barcelona, is teaching a new optional subject entitled Disability Law: Accessibility for students from the Faculty of Law at UIC Barcelona.

The course is based on the current regulations governing accessibility on both a Catalan and state level and will touch upon the arguments, procedures and penalties that must be taken into account when implementing and negotiating aspects of accessibility in the event of disputes relating to urban planning or public or private construction projects, products, services, means of transport or communication and information systems for all kinds of users.

As part of this class, professionals associated with the subject matter will be invited to give specific classes or lectures.

Enrique Rovira-Beleta is an architect and expert in Accessibility, a lecturer in Accessibility and director of the Postgraduate Degree in Accessibility and Design for All in the ESARQ-School of Architecture at UIC Barcelona.
