PEA students discuss the pros and cons of the sharing economy

The students were from different years and degree programmes; something that helped enrich the lines of debate

Students from the Programme for Academic Excellence (PEA) took part in a discussion session moderated by lecturer Montserrat Nebrera, in which, divided into groups, they defended the pros and cons of the sharing economy.

The session highlighted the numerous benefits offered by this new type of economy, such as expanded services, but also the risks, which include deregulation or lack of protection for both consumers and workers.

The activity also served to enhance the understanding and debate and reasoning skills of students from different years and degree programmes; all of which helped enrich the event’s approaches and perspectives.
