On 27 August, Dr Hernández Alfaro, a full professor in the Faculty of Dentistry, delivered a talk entitled “On an Adequate Timing for Orthognathic Surgery” at the 2018 Surgery First Summit in Japan.

 

A pioneer in the application of this technique, Dr Federico Hernández Alfaro is one of the world’s most authoritative voices and an opinion leader in this field. Dr Hernández’s speech focused on the new timing schemes for treating dentomaxillofacial deformities that emerged following the introduction of new minimally invasive orthodontic and surgical techniques.
