Mariona Guerrero, a professor from the department of Nursing at UIC Barcelona, gave a session entitled “Comunicación con los pacientes” at the VI Conference on Nursing and Physiotherapy entitled “Cuidar bien, cuidar siempre” held on the healthcare campus at the University of Lleida on Wednesday 5 April. The event was organised by the University of Lleida itself along with the Society of Nurses of Lleida and the Society of Physiotherapists of Catalonia.
At this IV edition of this event, aimed at nurses and physiotherapists, Mariona Guerrero, who is a member of the WeCare Chair in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, also gave a workshop on the importance and the key role played by communication with patients.
The aim of this event, which approximately 300 people attended, was to underline the importance of personal commitment in order to acquire the professional skills you need for nursing and physiotherapy, that will guarantee better care for people, at whatever point they are in their life.
