Students and lecturers from California State University Channel Islands visited the UIC Barcelona facilities on 20 March with the aim of establishing links and future cooperation between the two institutions. They also participated in two master-classes..  

The first master-class was given by Nina Magomedova, a lecturer from the department of Economics and Business Organisation, and the topic was Business Creation and Entrepreneurship: from Invention to Innovation.

The second master-class was given by Dr Pablo Agnese and covered blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, a highly contemporary issue. This lecturer already gave a talk on the same subject on 16 February and on 12 April will hold a new debate on this subject.
