Tetiana Klymchuk participates in a congress on artificial intelligence in the European Parliament
The lecturer from the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences Tetiana Klymchuk participated in a round table on 6 March on the role of AI in evaluating social security and work capacity. The conference was held at the European Economic and Social Committee
In the framework of this conference organised by the 2024 Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union in Brussels, Tetiana Klymchuk participated as a senior data scientist and expert in artificial intelligence in the third panel of the session, entitled “Benefits and Future Potential of AI in Work Capacity”.
During the event, special attention was paid to exploring the opportunities and potential risks associated with AI. The European Union of Medicine in Assurance and Social Security (EUMASS) led the conversation toward a future in which technology will become a tool to promote inclusion and social protection.
The conference had the objective of creating an interdisciplinary dialogue to identify the opportunities that AI can bring to this sector. It intends to ensure that the technology is safe, reliable and human-centred.
The conference, entitled “Shaping Tomorrow: AI in Social Security and Work Capacity Assessment”, was organised in collaboration with the Belgian National College of Insurance Medicine and Social Security of the Federal Public Service.
