On the one hand, Geoffrey Cowper, a lecturer in Audiovisual Communication and Advertising and Public Relations, is coordinating the Samsung Sitges Cocoon, a new venue at the Sitges Film Festival focused on virtual reality, which will also be the setting for the awards given by the jury, made up of Jaume Balagueró, Javier Olivares and Miguel Ángel Ruiz, and the audience, who will cast their votes online.

As Cowper explains, “there are two areas, the Samsung VR Cine, in the Miramar Cultural Centre, and the Samsung VR Experience, where those interested will have the chance to attend the various sessions”.

Óscar Sueiro, in turn, is working as a film critic and writing a daily chronicle on his film website.

Lastly, lecturer Violeta Kovacsis is in charge of publications at the Festival and is responsible for editing the daily newspaper.
