Toni Mora working on the FLASH European project to improve the efficiency of healthcare systems

The director of IRAPP attended the annual meeting of the European FLASH project in Catania (Italy) to present the progress of his work in the analysis of the cost-effectiveness of the La Meva Salut app

The 16 partners of the FLASH programme, including universities, research centres, non-profit organisations and institutions such as the Research Institute in Evaluation and Public Policy (IRAPP), led by Dr Toni Mora, have met to share the results of the study at the University of Catania (Italy). The project aims to conduct a comprehensive analysis of healthcare financing mechanisms in Europe using a wide range of methodological approaches.

Within the framework of the programme, Mora is analysing the cost-effectiveness of personal digital health platforms, specifically the La Meva Salut app. The analysis explores the inequalities of the application and measures the impact on the use of health resources and the direct health costs.

The programme of the meeting included presentations by project partners and discussions on aspects of management and health policy. Members shared the results obtained during the first year of the project and discussed innovative approaches and findings in health management and policy.

This meeting encourages collaboration and knowledge exchange among programme members, and improves the impact of health research across Europe. The annual meeting shows the consortium’s commitment to advancing health policy and practice through rigorous research and collaboration.
