Team 3 (Laura Arce, David Carpi, Ignacio Ollero and Andrea Velasco) worked on a proposal for the fourth area, the pharmaceutical sector.  Specifically, they studied how to launch a new and revolutionary medication to treat Macular Degeneration onto the market and how to deal with the arrival of a competitor.

On the other hand, team 6 (Natalia Costa, Jaume Camí, Mariona Figueras, Nil Fleix and Arnau Raventós) worked on the second area, business strategy and development and looked at launching a line of own brand The Bike Lab S. L. products onto the market.

About the Academic Excellence Programme (PEA)

The PEA entitled “Bridging University and Business” is an activity aimed at Business Administration and Management (ADE) students with the best academic record which is being carried out for the second consecutive year at the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences. The aim is to bring the field of business closer to universities.

The Programme is undertaken each academic year in two modules distributed over the two semesters. Each module has five sessions which are dedicated to different areas of business management, in which invited executives participate. The activity ends each semester with a consulting competition, for which students need to set up a “consultancy group” and provide a response to specific business challenges.
