The UIC ranks among the 10 best private universities in Spain, according to a list published by «El Mundo» newspaper. Moreover, the Degree in Dentistry came fifth out of all Dentistry degrees taught in Spain.
The report singled out the UIC's coaching programme as a unique feature, describing it as “a ground-breaking initiative in the university landscape created for final-year students. The university's 2,000 agreements make it possible for students to undertake first-rate internships at prestigious organizations”. With regard to the Degree in Dentistry, it highlighted “the practical work, the research and the development of educational methods”, as well as the range of postgraduate programmes available and the University Dental Clinic.
The report analyses the Spanish faculties and schools where the 50 most sought-after degrees are taught. To produce the report, the newspaper analyses different aspects of the degree programmes and specifies the five best faculties or schools for studying each of them. The study is based on information provided by the universities themselves, surveys carried out among academic staff and external assessments such as those undertaken by the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA).
