The conference has managed to bring together academics, professionals and doctoral students from more than forty countries in the field of knowledge management. The proceedings will be published in various journals, including the Electronic Journal of Knowledge Management. The Dean of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, Dr Marta Mas, as well as Dr Frederic Marimon, Dr Jasmina Berbegal and Dr Ramon Bastida, professors from the same faculty, all participated in organising this event.

During the conference a specific colloquium was organised for doctoral students as well as a best case study competition. The awards were given out the same afternoon, at the end of the conference.

In total around 200 academics from more than 40 countries attended this event.
