From the next academic year onwards, the Faculty of Education will offer a University Master’s degree in Educational Psychology. This university master’s degree, awarded 60 ECTS, is the first online university master’s degree at UIC Barcelona.
The Master’s degree offers two potential specialisation tracks: educational psychology in the family environment or, on the other hand, in the social and work environments. Either specialisation can be chosen based on two itineraries: professional or research. Students are free to make this choice.
The UIC Barcelona University Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology prepares you to face the challenges of educational psychology and to tackle research in this field rigorously, based on a systematic and multidisciplinary education.
With an international focus, the content in each subject has been prepared by professors and researchers from different universities around the world. The opportunity to work on didactic material developed by professors and lecturers with lengthy international experience allows greater job opportunities to be embraced in a globalised world which now also encompasses Educational Psychology.
Through this new programme UIC Barcelona not only consolidates its university master’s degree programmes but also increases its potential in the international market. This degree programme meets the access criteria requirements to take doctoral studies in the European Higher Education Area.
