“Infographics for UIC Barcelona: a real assignment through transversal teaching” proposes the development of signage with digital infographics that facilitate orientation and access to services and equipment, inside and outside the University. This proposal from UIC Barcelona School of Architecture received the first prize of the IV Puig Foundation Scholarship in Teaching Innovation in 2022

During the academic year, first and second year students designed various infographic proposals, both from the University and its urban environment. They presented their completed projects on 15 April at the Saló de Graus, before a panel of teachers and experts in the field: Manel Arenas and Carmen Mendoza, teachers at the School of Architecture; Roser Freixa, brand designer at UIC Barcelona, and Eva Minguella, creative director and founder of Eva Estudi.

In the Building category, the jury awards were given to Alexandra Zelca for the best graphics, Natalia Mac Gregor for the best communication and Eric Lopez for the best concept. In the Urban category, the winners were Mara Cristian and Eliana Mullis for the best graphics, Jana Nehad and Ann Marie Karagiozova for the best communication, and Mia Zdravkovic and Dana Almonte for the best concept.

Attendees also had the opportunity to participate in the choice of winning projects. Again, Alexandra Zelca won the audience award for best graphics. For communication, there was a tie between Natalia Mac Gregor and Sophia Ladurner. Finally, the audience awarded the concept of the proposal by Alyssa Carloni, Andrea Zaharescu and Karim Msallati.
