UIC Barcelona welcomes students from the El Encino school in Mexico

This was the second group of incoming international students to visit the university. A few weeks earlier, the university hosted students from the Intisana school in Quito (Ecuador).

A group of fourteen students and one teacher from the El Encino school in Aguascalientes (Mexico) paid UIC Barcelona a visit on 25 April.

The students were given a presentation about the university, as well as a tour of the facilities of both the Barcelona and Sant Cugat campuses. They also attended the Philosophy Seminar, which, on this occasion, was led by Dr Jaume Armengou, vice-rector for Academic Organisation and International Relations.

The group’s visit is just one stop on the students’ travels through Europe. During their time in Spain, they also visited the University of Navarra. This was the second of the incoming international visits organised by the International Promotion Department. The department is looking to repeat this initiative next year with other schools.
