University Master's Degree in Biodigital Architecture accredited by AQU

The Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency (AQU) in the Catalan Government recently accredited the UIC Barcelona School of Architecture University Master's Degree in Biodigital Architecture. This Master’s degree is directed by Professor Alberto T. Estévez.

This accreditation is the final stage in the verification process of a degree programme and involves the reaffirmation of the programme at an official level. It also confirms the fact that the quality standards of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education have been met.

All official university degree programmes must go through the accreditation process before six years have passed to be counted from its initial verification (or last accreditation), in the case of degrees and doctorates, and before four years have passed in the case of master’s degrees.

Each year, universities and AQU Catalunya jointly organise external visits for degree programmes that hope to begin the accreditation process.

The accreditation process is divided into two stages: the external visit and then the accreditation.
