María Victoria-Mas, a lecturer in Journalism from the Faculty of Communication Sciences, was recently awarded the José Castillejo Mobility Grant for young doctors. Victoria-Mas’ worked on a research project at the University of Texas’ Center for Media Engagement during the 2017-2018 academic year.

During her stay at the American university, Lecturer Victoria-Mas analysed the impact that the value of journalistic brands has for consumers in terms of audience engagement with the journalistic content.

The purpose of the José Castillejo Grant is to provide funding to help and encourage young doctors to pursue stays abroad at universities and research centres which are particularly competitive in their area of scientific expertise.
