The students were able to learn at first hand about the history of the Library of Catalonia (formerly the Hospital de la Santa Creu) and of the institution in general.  Within the different departments in the Library, the Frederic Marès Book Museum can also be found, and the group was also able to pay this museum a visit.  Thus they were able to look more in-depth into the history of books and writing. 

The visit ended with a practical session on searching for information in catalogues, looking at different types of documents. Students were also able to work on examples for their own Final Degree Projects.
