The concept of planetary health and the key health effects of environmental change will be introduced. Basic knowledge on the main layers that compose an urban system will be provided, and the links between urban sustainability and health will be illustrated through international case studies.

The seminars proposed for this edition are:

(1) Healthy city: Healthy Sustainable Urban Development, SDGs and Planetary Health.

(2) City Layers: Urban structure, Mobility Systems, Open Space Systems, Urban Growth Patterns and Centrality Areas.
