Dr. Gómez-Borges works at the Universitat Jaume I in Castelló, Spain. He has been a psychologist since 2008, having completed his bachelor's degree at the Catholic University of Uruguay.
He holds a Master's degree in Applied Positive Psychology, a Master's degree in Work Psychology, Human Resources and Organizations, and a Master's degree in Organizational Change. In 2024, he completed his PhD in Psychology and Management of Public Policies for the Development of Social Well-being, obtaining a Cum Laude grade for his thesis. His main area of research is psychological self-care and its influence on well-being.
Dr. Gómez-Borges' professional experience as a psychologist involves working on human development in the workplace, performing academic management tasks, carrying out group psychological interventions, and participating in scientific research. He is part of a research team focused on work psychology and the assessment of psychosocial risk factors in organizations. In addition, she is dedicated to writing psychological reports and scientific articles in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
