Ana M. Martín Ancel is Doctor in Medicine and Surgery from the Autonomous University of Madrid. Specialist in Pediatrics, with accreditation in Neonatology.Professional experience
She currently works as a Consultant Specialist at the Neonatology Department of the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital in Barcelona. She is an Associate Professor at the University of Barcelona and a Teaching Collaborator in the Master's in Pediatric Palliative Care at the International University of La Rioja.She is a member of the Spanish Society of Neonatology and the Spanish Society of Pediatric Palliative Care. She has been the director of over 40 training courses in Neonatology for doctors and nurses. She is co-author of more than 40 scientific publications. She has been the promoter of the Perinatal Palliative Care program at the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital, the area where her current research is focused.
