Julio has more than 14 years of teaching experience in Medicine, Physiotherapy and Biomedicine Degrees at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. He has worked as an Adjunct Radiophysicist and Supervisor of the radioactive facility of the Radiotherapy Oncology Service of the Hospital Universitario General de Cataluña for 20 years. He is the current Head of radiological protection at this hospital and a member of the permanent commission for patient dose management. During this time he has participated in the implementation of two electron accelerators and advanced techniques for radiotherapy treatments. He has directly participated in the design of more than 15,000 radiotherapy treatments.
