Education
M. Dolors Rosinés Cubells has a Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (1983). She specialized in Orthopedic Surgery from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (1996).
Professional experience
M. Dolors is Associate Professor of the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. She has more than 30 years of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience. She is the Clinical Head Coordinator of the Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology Service of Althaia, Red Asistencial y Universitaria de Manresa, Fundación Privada. She has experience in microsurgery and reimplantation surgery, having studied at the Universitaire de Techniques Microchirurgicales (École de Chirurgie, Pr. C. Cabrol, Université IV, Paris). In 2000-2002 she co-organized and co-directed the Postgraduate Diploma in "Scenic Arts Medicine" held at the Fundació Universitària del Bages. In 2010, she created the Functional Femur Fracture Unit (UF3), one of the first units of this type in Catalonia, to improve the treatment of people over 65 years old with a fragility fracture of the proximal third of the femur , for which she still is responsible. Teaching has been an important point in her career, acting as a teacher or tutor in different courses and Masters. She has been involved in diverse international cooperation projects (St. John of God Hospital, Sierra Leone; Hospital Raquel Brush Yemessoa, Cameroon; Hôpital Saint Jean de Dieu Thiès, Senegal).
