Professional experience
2023 – Act. Marine Science Institute (ICM-CSIC). Severo Ochoa excellence Center Barcelona, 2023 – Current Postdoctoral Fellow.● Omics sciences approach to European sea bass Endocrinology of Reproduction. Preformed in-silico ecotoxicology studies using QSAR for non- EATS EDCs. Designed and developed ex-vivo organ culture experiments and hands-on molecular biology lab work, RNA&DNA extraction and purification, PCR, qPCR, cloning and DNA recombinant technology, ISH, IHC. General Histological procedures. Bioinformatics. Statistical analysis of data. Scientific papers elaboration.
● Managed culture of European sea bass and Zebrafish. Expertise in intensive culture system. Tank setup, husbandry, family mating, and embryo to adult rearing. Proficient in maintaining adequate environmental conditions, feeding, and ensuring animal welfare through a deep knowledge and experience in fish behavior in culture conditions.
● Organized sampling for EPIBOOST (European project) international teams (12 people). Facilitated Ex- vivo culture technique training for 7 project participants. Presented project updates and outcomes from 5 to over 40 staff members, showcasing excellent public communication and teamwork skills. Animal welfare in experimentation. Review and assess welfare in experimentation projects. In- situ supervision of animal care and experimentation to ensure animal welfare. Circular economy expert. Promoting and implementing the principles of circular economy to create restorative and regenerative sustainable systems.
● Mentor for the Marina Mentoring Program. Guiding two mentees through their first and second years of doctorate studies, highlighting my ability to mentor and develop emerging scientists.
