Institute

The University Institute for Patient Care at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya is a university institution whose overall objective is to analyse the needs of and provide health education and training to patients, their family members and associations concerning all aspects of illness. To this end, the Institute conducts research, teaches courses and organises informative events. 

Scope of action

The University Institute for Patient Care generates knowledge with a view to meeting any needs that may arise with regards to all aspects of illness. To do so, it undertakes projects that target the individual, families, society, the healthcare system and our environment. We want the results to be useful not only for patients and their family members, but also the various actors involved in healthcare.
