THE ECKM is one of the longest running academic conferences in Europe. The conference brings together academics, practitioners and doctoral students from more than forty countries who are engaged in the field of knowledge management.  The research results from this conference are published in a number of journals, including the Electronic Journal of Knowledge Management. During the conference a specific colloquium will be arranged for doctoral students as well as a competition for the Best Case History, which will involve describing a successful KM application. 

This year the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences will host the ECKM 2017 conference, which will take place at UIC Barcelona.
