On 14 January, the Master’s Degree in Architecture & Design Business Management is holding a round table titled “Activating rooftops in Barcelona. New challenges in green management, communities and renewable energies” in cooperation with Barcelona Design Centre (BCD), official partner of the master’s degree’s first module, and Barcelona Town Council. Several experts will discuss which strategies to follow for green implementation, energy efficiency and the activation of social life on the terraces of multi-family buildings in Barcelona.

“The round table discussion will cover subjects such as energy communities, how to overcome the obstacles that exist in homeowners' communities to activate their rooftops, and how the activation of rooftops can be beneficial for society as a whole. The paradigm city is Barcelona, but the aim is to transfer the knowledge acquired in other areas and cities to the reality of dense metropolises”, explains Maria Isabel Gabarró.
