Adding value using the Blockchain: how is used in different sectors

On Tuesday 22 February at 6.30 p.m., the Aula Magna room will host the second in a series of lectures on “Discovering the blockchain”, organised by UIC Barcelona. Titled “Adding value using the Blockchain: how is used in different sectors”, this session will spotlight some of the success stories currently adding value to different sectors of the economy thanks to blockchain technology.

Guest speakers will answer questions related to the phenomenon: Why do they use the blockchain? How would they operate without the blockchain? How many competitors are there in the sector? What are the biggest obstacles they must face in order to grow and reach a wider audience? What are the risks within and outside the sector? Will governments end up accepting this technology? These and many other questions will be answered during the talk.
