Conference on science and religion
Faculty of Education
B601 - Campus Barcelona
Aimed to teachers and professors from the area of religion, natural sciences, philosophy and ethics, from Primary and Secondary Education. It is especially aimed at people who want to look in greater depth into the relationship between science and faith in the light of the recent encyclical from Pope Francisco entitled Alabado seas (Be Praised).
The aim of the course is to reflect on current significant ethical challenges such as new forms of slavery, violence, the technocratic paradigm and the lack of sustainability on our planet. A look will also be taken at the ideas that contribute to peace and sustainability through education.
