We live in a society where image is everything but we cannot extract the power that lies within it. We live in an accelerated society (or exponential as some would say) and we have to make decisions that are quick but also precise. In short, we only understand what we are capable of seeing, even more so in a world in which all content has become digitalised and information is no longer presented on slow, inflexible and inactive pieces of paper.

All of these are some of the most significant and influential aspects of Business Intelligence and Big Data projects, which define how data and information is going to be visualised. This is a critical issue and many projects fail because a good visualisation strategy has not been established. Also, little by little the complexity and contextualisation of the way in which the data and information is presented increases, these are aspects that becoming determining elements, when a suitable data storytelling strategy is established, which those listening to us must process and understand. This also must be done quickly, because there is not much time to decide.

If you are a data analyst or would like to look further in-depth into the field of data analysis, processing and visualisation, don’t miss this round table where renowned professionals from various fields will present their experiences from the field of visualisation.
