(Event postponed) Inauguration ceremony: Dr Esther Calbo takes office as full professor

The inauguration ceremony of Dr Esther Calbo as full professor will not take place today, 21 March. The event is postponed until further notice.

Dr Esther Calbo, lecturer in the Department of Medicine, will be invested as full professor in the Area of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Josep Maria Miro, professor of Medicine at the Universitat de Barcelona, will present the honours. Dr Calbo will then give the inaugural keynote lecture, titled "Antibiotic resistance: A hospital viewpoint".
