Grants Ceremony, 2021-2022 academic year

On 28 January, Feast Day of Saint Thomas Aquinas, patron saint of universities, and on the eve of our 25th anniversary, UIC Barcelona is celebrating the first Grants Ceremony for all students who this 2021-2022 academic year have received a grant from the University's grants and funding programme.

This event will highlight the grantholders’ talent and merit, as well as the commitment and generosity shown by the companies, institutions and individuals that have endorsed our project by supporting the grants and funding programme, part of the #NoTalentWithoutAFuture campaign.

UIC Barcelona is committed to excellence and we strive to attract the best talent that will have an impact on society. We want to guarantee equal opportunities so that no student finds themselves falling behind with their studies for financial reasons.

During the ceremony, which will be led by the vice rector of the University Community, Esther Jiménez, the grants will be awarded to the students with the participation of representatives of the companies that have donated to the programme.

Due to seating capacity and current health and safety measures, attendance is by invitation only. Nevertheless, we encourage you to follow the event on social media and congratulate the grantholders studying at our UIC Barcelona faculties.

Join us as we celebrate together!
