Carlos Pérez de Rozas, who left us this past summer, was a journalist and lecturer at the UIC Barcelona Faculty of Communication Sciences where he taught on the Master’s in Sports Journalism, on the Postgraduate in Sports Journalism and the Bachelor's Degree in Sports Journalism.

The event is organised jointly by the various faculties of communication where he taught: Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC), Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF); Universitat Ramon Llull-Blanquerna (URL) and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB).

The ceremony will be held at the UPF Poblenou Campus, and the Dean of UIC Barcelona Faculty of Communication Sciences, Dr Alfonso Mendiz Noguero, will take part, along with the deans of the other universities where Pérez de Rozas taught. Antoni Maria Piqué, lecturer on the Bachelor's Degree in Journalism at UIC Barcelona Faculty of Communication will also participate, narrating the journalist's life and career.
