Live online information session on our University Master’s degree in Biodigital Architecture

The School of Architecture at UIC Barcelona this year is once again offering its University Master’s degree in Biodigital Architecture, directed by the Architect and Professor from the school, Alberto T. Estévez.

This pioneering postgraduate programme combines architecture, biology and new digital trends. It has been providing a unique perspective on architecture from biological and digital points of view since the year 2000. The teaching programme draws various parallels between new cybernetic-digital and ecological-environmental planning techniques. It incorporates concepts, methodologies and experimental work that use genetically-powered software, evolutionary processes, emerging systems, algorithms, parametric modelling and scripting. It has an innovative perspective of architecture that draws from areas such as genetics and the generative, the relationship between the natural and the digital, and the impact of new biology.

Would you like to discover the field of biodigital architecture? Do you have a degree in the area of Architecture, Engineering, Fine Art, Design, Landscaping, Biology or Genetics? Watch the live information session we will stream online on Tuesday 19 July at 5 p.m. (GMT+2) during which the programme director, Alberto T. Estévez, will give a presentation on the key aspects of the master’s programme. He will also describe the course structure, its continuity in terms of doctoral studies and the professional opportunities available to graduates.
