Tuesday 4 October marks the 20th anniversary of the class with which Director Alberto T. Estévez inaugurated the ESARQ (UIC Barcelona), Catalonia's first private school of architecture.

In commemoration of the event, the School has organised a conference on "The Meaning (of Life) for Architects". Following a presentation by the School's current director, Josep Lluís i Ginovart, and a lecture by Alberto T. Estévez, architects involved in the early days of the School will share their comments and attendees will be invited to engage in a general discussion.
