Research applied to new ways of living
On 27 January, the Laboratory for Technological Innovation in Industrialised and Sustainable Construction (LITEIS) from UIC Barcelona School of Architecture will hold the conference “Research applied to new ways of living”. The event seeks to offer a university- and research-based perspective on the transformations that are taking place in the built environment, particularly in terms of housing, in order to move towards a more efficient and sustainable model. Academics and LITEIS members, government and industrial sector representatives, and UIC Barcelona School of Architecture students will all take part in the conference.

An analysis of the recent European directives on new and refurbished housing.
In addition to the need to reformulate our living spaces, she will also discuss the importance of tackling climate change, the proper use of our limited resources and the necessary digitalisation of our daily activities.
-Debate: Opportunities and obstacles regarding new housing challenges.
