Synthesis session on Objects at the 2016 Architecture Congress
On 23 November, Dr Carmen Mendoza will take part in a round table discussion entitled "Objects: Eligibility of the City" at the seat of the Association of Architects of Catalonia.
This event is part of the 2016 Architecture Congress' Synthesis Week and will consist of a series of lectures and round tables about the objects on which architecture operates, such as housing, city, landscape and territory.
Dr Carmen Mendoza is assistant director of International Relations, director of the area of Urbanism and assistant director of the International Master's Degree in Cooperation: Sustainable Emergency Architecture at the UIC Barcelona School of Architecture.
Synthesis Week at the 2016 Architecture Congress Between 21 and 25 November, a different session will be held every day to address a theme that groups together a number of interrelated subjects. The content and its grouping will be determined by a participatory process that, during the six months the Architecture Congress lasts, will collect contributions and comments. Round tables and specific debates on each subject will be organised each morning, while the afternoon will feature lectures by internationally renowned architects. In addition to these lectures, the conclusions of the talks that take place during the day will also be presented.
