Grants for Health Sciences from Mi Fundación Alex

The Mi Tres Torres Clinic, the Mi NovAliança Clinic (Mi Clinics) and the Fundación Alex are awarding three grants with the aim of promoting Nursing education at UIC Barcelona. With an annual endowment of €3750, the grants are intended for nursing students with an excellent academic record, with limited economic capacity, and who are committed to society.

The grant includes both curricular work placements and paid extracurricular work experience. The extracurricular work placements will be 4 weeks long and are specifically aimed at 3rd and 4th year students. The curricular work experience will be tutored by the Nursing Department of UIC Barcelona alongside the Mi Clinics, while Mi Clinics will be responsible for tutoring the extracurricular work experience. Grant recipients will have the possibility to join the Mi Clinics staff once their studies are completed.

The grant will always seek to combine academic excellence with the needs of the selected student.

To access the grant, the student must have passed all the credits they are enrolled in the previous year and have a minimum average mark of 7.

Along with the application for the grant, the student must submit their total family income for the corresponding fiscal year, a personal letter of motivation about why they chose to study Nursing, and participate in the work placements (curricular or extracurricular) offered by Mi Clinics.

This grant is incompatible with other UIC Barcelona financial aid except for the large or single-parent family discount.
