Teachers and teacher training

The Interdisciplinary Centre for Thought works alongside the university’s faculties to teach cross-disciplinary subjects to students on all bachelor’s degree programmes at UIC Barcelona. As such, the faculties will source CIP teachers who best suit the specific profiles of each degree and discipline. The CIP will appoint the teaching staff for each of the subjects, but the teachers will remain administratively affiliated to their respective departments.

The CIP will also will coordinate and guide the teaching of general cross-disciplinary subjects. It will also contribute to specific training for the teaching staff that give these classes, based on exchanged experiences, seminars and conferences and the creation of teaching material.
