100% of our University Master’s Degree in the Legal Profession (MUA) students pass their access to the legal profession exam

All 31 students who took the master’s degree during the 2016-2017 academic year passed the state exams held on 3 March.

The 31 students who took our University Master’s Degree in the Legal Profession (MUA) taught at UIC Barcelona all passed their access to the legal profession exams.  In other words, 100% of students can now join official legal bodies and become lawyers.

The exam, which they prepared for over a period of one year and three months, was held on 3rd March at a state level.  Students were also offered specific preparation classes to pass the exam.

Since 2013, the law specifies that this exam must be passed, as a step prior to joining official bodies and exercising the legal profession. Before the exam candidates must also complete a MUA programme, which is taught in different modes at UIC Barcelona, with the option of taking a double degree also available.

Therefore, the Faculty of Law offers the opportunity to take the MUA alongside the Master's Degree in Taxation Law: Planning and Guidance, the Postgraduate Degree in Tax Consultancy, the Specialisation Course in Compliance and Cybercrime, or the Postgraduate Degree in Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions.
